Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress is famous for her roles as the main character in many television programs as well as her impressive performances in films. She is popular on both Canadian and American TV. Emily started acting when she was 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's films. As soon as she began to realize that acting was her interest, she started to take acting lessons and auditions. After several commercials that were successful, she was quickly cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV series Are You terrified of the Dark? The show only featured her in only one scene and without dialogue. The WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry at age 15. Emily's talents attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the show was cancelled after only nine episodes. He cast Emily as a character on Everwood which is his upcoming TV show. Also a ballet dancer and a photographer Emily was previously ranked as a Teen in their list of best actresses who are under 20. Maxim placed her at number 51 on their Hot 100 of 2014.
