Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 and was the child of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She belongs to the Robertses' fourth generation who reside in the Atlanta region beginning from her maternal grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. She inherited her father's interest in the theatre at a young stage. In 1952, while an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. He joined the Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in productions with Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their daughter, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they were discharged from the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. In 1960, the couple moved in Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies and their Buddies, which they themselves funded. The following year they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which continued for six seasons. In the meantime, they also had two other kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
