Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was first person to reach a flawless 10 on an Olympic occasion. Bela Karrolyi is a Romanian gymnastics instructor who was later Comaneci's coach who first came across Comaneci aged six. The year 1969 was the first time she took part in the Romanian Junior Games where she placed 13th. She won in 1970. At her first international event that was an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition that was open to countries of the communist bloc, she took home three gold medals. And in 1973 and 1975, she won named the all-around Junior Champion. When she competed for the first time in senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva, a Russian athlete, won five gold medals as well as one silver. She was the winner of the American Cup at the New York City Olympics. She also was the first female ever to remove the bars in parallel with a double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career as an entertainment professional during her teenage years in which she was a part of an ice skating duo along with their twin sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6, 1942, on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her journey into the entertainment industry in her teens. She started her career as a figure skater, performing alongside her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around named Ice Capades. The show featured dramatic ice skating shows.
