Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
When I had a baby with me, and other babies within the cradle would work 12 hour shifts sanding flooring and tearing off wallpaper. Ha! The home was starting to look nice, but there were a few things to be done. The project would require money, effort, as well as my personal favorite to furnish this house. For my budget to remain sound, I travelled with my three boys in search for bargains in estate sales. The routine we had for the week consisted of walking from Thursday to Saturday through estate sales and garage sales buying a mixture of old and new pieces while I spent the weekdays painting sanding in the driveway. The look was similar to the picture below... This was where my passion for restoring furniture began. Even after our house was furnished I couldn't stop! I had an area at the market to sell things. It was possible to expand the area because I had numerous pieces I was able to use. More than 1000 people came to my home in just one weekend, to shop for all the things on the ground. Growing Days was founded in my house. The business wasn't just expanding, but so was our family of four. In a way, I found the ideal equilibrium between motherhood and starting my new venture. Growing Days just fit. My beautiful Nora was born in 2013, our fourth child. My business was booming but I wanted a rest. I made the decision to take a break to spend time at home, spending time with my children. The time was right. It was only after several months when the phones began to be ringing. People were calling me and seeking help for the interior decoration and improvements. A majority of them came into my residence at my open house for furniture. Once I had a few months, I took on clients in my own way. In no time, I was managing several accounts and a home remodeling business. It is likely that I'd have laughed had I had been told that the company was to become the premise of an upcoming tv program in the DIY Network. It's hilarious to look back to it.
